This is Mia sitting on the step to get into our shower. When I went into our bathroom and saw her I asked her why she was sitting there and she said, "I am giving Daddy a privacy!" I was laughing so hard, she evidently was following Mike into the potty and he said he needed his privacy and asked her to step out of the potty room. So she sat there just outside, waiting patiently. Now when she is going potty and we go into to check on her, she makes it a point to say, "Can you give me a privacy?" I love it!!

Saturday night we went to our town's annual "Clambake" festival. Below you will see Mia on stage dancing when the DJ had the kids get up to dance while the band took a break. Mike and I were laughing because she was following him and sliding and stomping her feet when he did. She did not want to come down when the were going to do a contest for the adults. Danny, Jamie, and the kids joined us and we ran into some friends from the old "Hallandale Police Department". I got a picture of them as well. Claire was up visiting Jeannie for the weekend. Claire worked at the front desk at the department and Jeannie worked for the recreation department. It was nice to see them catch up and everyone and reminisce of life before retirement.

This is Mia's Fall school picture and I think it came out cute! Last year's picture didn't go well and she looked scared in it. Now that she is used to posing I guess it is easier!

Halloween 2008This Halloween started at Mia's school in the afternoon for a party and then continued to our home with some friends for trick or treating in our neighborhood. Grandaddy came up to visit and Grandma joined us at the school party too! Mia's hair was a toal wreck when I got to the school so you can see it fixed up for the evening. I also painted a football on her face which she loved! Mia got so much candy that it is overwhelming. Of course, the first thing she asked when she woke up this morning was, "Can I have a lollipop?"
