The Moment We Have All Been Waiting For. . .

Here is our precious little girl. We are sorry it has been so long. We were at the civil affairs office for quite some time and we just back back from our first dinner together. She was dropping her stacking cups and when they hit the floor she went into a belly laugh. Words cannot express the joy that Mike and I are feeling. We put on the TV and she was swaying to the music. She keeps grabbing Mike's goatee. She ate a whole bowl of congee (soupy rice mix famous in China). Her clothes are huge. She is tall but skinny. Her 6-9 months clothes are big. She has 2 lower teeth and 1 top tooth. We are going to take a bath and Mike and I are going to reflect on this special day.

She did not cry when she was handed to us. Most of our babies were good, she fell asleep in Mike's arms on the bus ride home. We spoke to the head nanny who said she is very easy going, I asked if she liked baths and she said she likes water (WoooHooo) and she sai she is very smart, and always happy. So far so good, we will post some more tomorrow.

You know there wasn't a dry eye here. I agree with Diane, "Silly Girl" is my favorite too. It proves Mia is the perfect fit as the newest addition to the Harrell family. I also love the cleaned up for dinner photo. What a beautiful, perfect little face. We can not wait to meet her in person and see her in your arms.
